Prior to his appointment as President and Chief Operating Officer in December 2005, Mr. Scherkus served as Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer from 1998 to 2005, as Vice-President, Operations from 1996 to 1998, as a manager of Agnico Eagle LaRonde Division from 1986 to 1996 and as a project manager from 1985 to 1986. Prior to this, Ammar spent 11 years at Barrick Gold Corporation in various senior financial roles including Senior Vice-President of Finance, Senior Vice-President of Business Strategy and Capital Allocation, and two years as Executive Director and CFO of Barrick South America. Prior to that, Ammar spent 8 years as an investment banker with Citibank Canada. Mr. Al-Joundi is a graduate of the Ivey Business School (M.B.A.) at the University of Western Ontario, and has his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto.

Ms. Grondin is Senior Vice-President, Environment and Sustainable Development of Agnico-Eagle. She has held this position since December 2010. Since joining the company in 2001, she was, successively, Vice President and before that Environmental Manager for the LaRonde Division and Regional Environmental Manager for Abitibi. Prior to that, Ms. Grondin was environmental superintendent for the Selbaie mine where she worked from 1993 to 2001. She also worked for 12 years in various capacities with Ontario Hydro in Toronto. Ms. Grondin holds a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Ottawa (1978) and an M.Sc. in Meteorology from McGill University (1980). She completed the mechanical engineering curriculum at the University of Toronto in 1984 and has been a member of OIQ in Quebec since 2001, and PEO in Ontario since 1984.

Prior to his appointment, he served Agnico-Eagle in various capacities for more than 20 years, most recently as Vice-President, Metallurgy & Marketing, General Manager, Metallurgy & Marketing and as Mill Superintendent and Project Manager for the expansion of the LaRonde mill. Before joining Agnico-Eagle, Mr. Robitaille worked as a metallurgist with Teck Mining Group. Mr. Robitaille is a mining graduate of the College de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue with a specialty in mineral processing.

Mr. Smith is the Senior Vice-President, Strategic Planning & Investor Relations, with Agnico-Eagle. He started work in investor relations at the company in February 2005. Prior to that, he was a mining analyst for more than five years. Mr. Smith's professional experience includes a variety of engineering positions in the mining industry, both in Canada and abroad. Mr. Smith is a member of the Board of Directors of the Denver Gold Group. He has a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Mining Engineering from Queen's University in Kingston and the University of Arizona, respectively. Mr. Smith is also a Professional Engineer.

Mr. Legault is Vice-President, Project Development, of Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited and has been with the Company for 18 years. He has held his current position since July 2006. Prior to that, Marc served as Manager, Project Evaluation, based in Toronto Ontario since 2002; Mine Geologist and later Chief Geologist at the Company's LaRonde Division in Cadillac, Quebec, from 1994; and Project Geologist at the Company’s Exploration Division in Val d’Or, Quebec, starting in 1988. Mr. Legault is also a director of Golden Goliath Resources Ltd., a TSX-V listed mineral exploration company (in which Agnico-Eagle holds an interest) with activities principally in northern Mexico. Mr. Legault is a graduate of Queen’s University (Honours B.Sc. in geological engineering) and Carleton University (M.Sc. in geology).

Mr. Medina was appointed Vice President, Mexico on January, 2011. He has worked with Agnico-Eagle Mines Ltd. In Mexico since 2007 as General Manager of the Pinos Altos project and most recently as the Regional Director of Agnico-Eagle Mexico. Mr. Medina has more than 16 years of experience in the gold mining industry in Mexico and has participated in the permitting and development efforts at several successful mines in this country. He is a graduate of the University of CESUES in Sonora, Mexico with a degree in Environmental Engineering and also recently graduated from the Harvard Business School General Management program. Mr. Medina is Vice President of Administration for the Mexican Mining Engineers, Metallurgists and Geologists Association and is a member of the Board of the Mexican Mining Chamber.

Mr. Sylvestre is Vice-President of Technical Services and Construction a position he has held since January 2011. Prior to his appointment he was Mine General manager at the Goldex Division of AEM and previously Mill Superintendent at the Laronde division. Mr. Sylvestre is a Metallurgical Engineering Technologist graduate from Cambrian College in Sudbury. Following graduation he served as Metallurgist and Mill Superintendent at the Joutel division of Agnico-Eagle and held the position of Mill Superintendent with Inmet Mining Troilus Division.
